About us

One Sophia sits right on Bolo Beach in Pandan, Alaminos City, where the water is calm and shallow and the sun sets behind the islands across the bay. We are a family, and we run the resort the way we would want to be welcomed: clean, cold rooms, a quiet compound with CCTV, and someone always around to help.

The Hundred Islands are about 15 minutes away by boat. Our boats hold a MARINA Certificate of Public Convenience for the Bolo Beach to Hundred Islands route, the City Tourism satellite office is inside our compound, and the boatmen’s association is next door, so you register, board and come back on the same shore.

We don’t run a restaurant. Instead you have an outdoor kitchen with a full set of cooking things for your own lutong bahay, a refrigerator in most rooms, and our sari-sari store for whatever you forgot. Free kayaks, a pavilion for small gatherings and a karaoke set fill the rest of the day.
